In the nanotechnology era, all the devices and advancements are going smaller newlineand smaller in size with enhanced features. Nano photonics is a significant newlinedomain of application due to size of the crystal diminished to nano scale. The newlinesolid light imprisonment accomplished in photonic crystals has empowered newlinedevices with ultra-compact footprints and extremely low energy/power newlineutilization. These attributes are obviously appropriate for building compact newlinephotonic circuits on chip, which will beat the drawback of future CMOS newlineintegrated chips for fast speed with low consumption of energy and heat newlinedissipation. To fulfil the demand of high speed data processing, great bandwidth newlineand low energy loss, these devices need to be fabricated on the nano scale newlinedimensions. Photonic crystal is a developing domain of optical materials which newlinewould take the optical incorporated circuits towards great progress. It is broadly newlineexpected that photonic crystals will be the prime constituents in the cutting edge newlinedata, optical and communication technology. Area and power efficient optical newlinedevices are required for the competent design of future optical integrated circuits. newlineAdequate functionality and realization of photonic crystal based devices are newlinerequired with reduced area and high power efficiency in different optical newlinecommunication systems. Photonic crystal based power splitter is one such newlineindispensable component for the development of photonic integrated chips. These newlineare significant components for interfacing the different sections on an integrated newlineoptical chip. newline
