| dc.description.abstract | This research work is centered on the development of distinct and innovative newlinenanostructures intendedfor potential applications in energy storage. Operating within newlinethe nano regime, the morphology and dimensions of materials play a pivotal role in newlinedetermining their properties. Consequently, this study will emphasize the synthesis newlineof unique nanostructures characterized by high surface area, aspect ratio, and newlinedistinctive architectures such as nanowires and nano-spherical structures. The newlinefabrication process will employ various metal oxides and semiconducting oxides newlineknown for their significantly higher conductivity. The primary objective is to delve newlineinto the electrochemical properties of these nanostructures. A thorough analysis of newlinethese electrochemical properties is expected to culminate in the creation of energy newlinestorage devices, particularly supercapacitors, which stand as a focal point within the newlinerealm of this research endeavor. newlineThe development of efficient energy storage solutions is crucial for capturing newlineand utilizing harvested energy across various applications. Several technologies newlineexist for this purpose, including supercapacitors, batteries, and conventional newlinecapacitors. Among these, supercapacitors, also known as electrochemical capacitors newlineor ultracapacitors, have seen a surge in interest due to their attractive properties. newlineThese include their ability to deliver high bursts of power (high-power density), newlineextended lifespans (long cycle life), and compact size. Supercapacitors find newlineapplications in electric vehicles, pacemakers, consumer electronics, and more. newlineThey, along with batteries, bridge the gap between conventional capacitors and fuel newlinecells, making them ideal electrochemical systems for storing energy. newline | |
