dc.description.abstractLandslides are a periodic natural calamity that poses substantial dangers to human lives, newlineenvironment and infrastructure, especially in hilly and densely inhabited locations. newlineDeveloping countries have seen sharp growth in construction. Roads, railway tracks, newlinebridges, tunnels and other transportation networks connect remote locations. newlineConstruction in the morphological area disrupts the ecosystem and creates threats such newlineas landslides. Landslides are both natural and man-made disasters that result in newlinefatalities. As a developing country, building cannot be halted, and natural factors that newlinecause landslides cannot be managed. Accurate landslide prediction is vital for disaster newlinepreparedness and risk management. Traditional methods for landslide prediction rely newlineon ground survey and statistical models, have limitations in term of data availability, newlinescalability and accuracy. newline
