Design and Development of Service Oriented Architecture based Middleware Solution for IOT

Abstract

The increased reach of the internet at an affordable price has given rise to the expeditious growth newlineof the Internet of Things (IoT). The concept of IoT has evolved from a hobby project to a large newlineindustrial - scale application. The rise in complexity of the application has forced us to go for newlinemodular development, that way it would be easier to develop, debug, and extend and many other newlinebenefits. The objective of this research work is to design and implement a robust class of Middleware services for IoT devices on the basis of the principles of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). The middleware services have developed as micro services that way it would ensure scalability to add on new features based on the idea of continuous development and integration. The solution would ensure as a package over IoT devices where it is in association with many actuators and sensors in the domain of Healthcare Management, increase in Crop yield based on the various parameters like soil, temperature, humidity, water content, pH and other associated parameters. Effective management of Traffic lights which would ensure reduced congestion and freeway for the ambulance in case of emergency and other traffic management system. newline newline
