Malwai Punjabi Kahani Da Samaj-Shastri Adhiyan (Kirpal Kazak, Gurcharan Chahal Bhikhi, Pargat Singh Sidhu and Mukhtiar Singh di Kahani de Parsang Vich) examined the complex and interrelated influences of culture, society, and literature in Punjabi story writings, applying the scientific approach of Socio-Cultural Theory. This study analysed the works of four prominent Punjabi storytellers: Kirpal Kazak, Gurcharan Chahal Bhikhi, Pargat Singh Sidhu, and Mukhtiar Singh, in order to assess how their works, offer readers visions of the future. The thesis aims to comprehend the dynamics of Punjabi literature and society, emphasizing the significant expressions of cultural identity and social consciousness found within Punjabi stories. It underscores the importance of Punjabi stories as vehicles for cultural discourse and social criticism within Punjabi literature.
