Tuberculosis is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in low and middle income newlinenations. With the emergence of drug-resistant TB, WHO designated tuberculosis a newlineglobal emergency and it continues to be a global health hazard. Among the globe newlineeight high burden countries accounts two thirds of the total cases, where India is at newlinehighest rate. In our study we focused on the diagnostic dilemma in Female Genital newlineTuberculosis (FGTB) in infertile women. FGTB can be asymptomatic or even newlinemasquerade as other gynecological conditions. Conventional methods of FGTB newlinediagnosis include various imaging, bacteriological, molecular, and pathological newlinetechniques that are only positive in a small percentage of patients, leaving many cases newlinewith an undiagnosed condition. In the absence of a perfect diagnostic method, newlinecomposite reference standards (CRSs) have been advocated in this diagnostic study. newline
