dc.description.abstractnewline Shopping for groceries online puts pressure on traditional stores in a number of newlinemarkets, but it has less of an effect on food stores than on other types of stores. But newlinethis is starting to change as more and more people do their grocery shopping online. newlineOnline grocery stores have taken 6 percent of the market in the United Kingdom. This newlinegrowth was mostly caused by the fact that all of the major stores with stores opened newlineonline shopping options and Ocadoand#39;s online shopping options kept getting better. newlineThrough the hard work of service providers, the Indian retail market is also busy with newlineonline sales. Online grocery shopping is finally becoming more popular. Amazonand#39;s newlinelaunch of Amazon Fresh is making old supermarket business models obsolete, so the newlinecurrent players will have to increase their andquot;clickandquot; sales and make better use of their newlinedelivery network. And the development of certain e-commerce models by retailers newlinemakes it easy for tech-savvy customers with little time to get the things they want. newlineThe spread of the pandemic is a big reason why people prefer to buy groceries newlineonline. So, people are more likely to use click andamp; collect services, book their groceries newlineonline, and pick them up when itand#39;s convenient for them while avoiding crowds. This is newlinebecause itand#39;s easy to find time slots, the service fees are lower, and itand#39;s more convenient newlineto pick up groceries on the way. Because of this, grocery stores are quickly adding newlineclick-and-collect services as part of their efforts to give customers a good experience newlineat all of their stores. newline newlinexxi| Page newlineIndiaand#39;s cities are growing quickly, which means more people are working and newlinehave less time to shop for groceries. As a result Smart phones and online payment newlinemethods are becoming more popular. Indiaand#39;s online grocery market was worth USD newline3.8 billion in 2021, and it is expected to reach USD 34.6 billion by 2028, growing at a newlineCAGR of 37.10% during the forecast period. Online grocery shopping is becoming newlinemore and more popular in India
