Psychological Profile of Successful Sports Persons of North Region of India A Survey

Abstract

The present study is entitled Psychological Profile of Successful Sports Persons of North Region of India: A Survey. The study was delimited to 500 university sports persons of selected games of north region of India with the age group of 18-25 years. The method used for data collection was Standardized Questionnaire and the subjects were selected with quota sampling method. After that the data was analyzed with the help of suitable statistical analysis (Percentile and Z score) and the following conclusion was made: newline The university sports persons whose psychological aspects are good give a good performance in any competition; if the psychological aspects are not good then their performance is poor in competition level. newline newline
