An Integrated Methodology for Improving Quality of Preprocessing of Data from Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) contain a large number of spatially located newlinesensors for monitoring the physical conditions of the environment or machinery. The newlinedata collected from the sensors are retrieved and stored in a central computer. The newlineWSNs are used with measurement of parameters such as temperature, humidity, newlinesound pressure, wind velocity, pollution levels and air quality usually from remote newlineand sometime not easily reachable locations. newlineWSN comprises of number of nodes where each node is connected to one or newlinemore sensors. The nodes use radio trans-receivers to connect to a controller kept at far newlineoff location. The WSNs are constrained by size and cost considerations and thereby newlineleading to constraints on resources such as battery power, computational speed and newlinecommunication bandwidth newline
