Abstract
Construction and Demolition (CandD) materials comprises waste originating during construction, reconstruction and flattening of buildings, roads and bridges generate huge amounts of debris. CandD debris/waste disposal influences directly on the natural resources restricting natural resources excavation and moreover, it accumulates as landfills and creating burden on loading and operations. CandD consists of both inert and non-inert waste materials, which have to be segregated prior recycling and utilization. Some non-inert waste materials are environmental hazards such as inorganic elements, bitumen, roofing, synthetic paints and admixtures may leach out and re-introduce itself into environment, directly impacting flora and fauna over course of time
