Emotional spiritual quotient ESQ which is the amalgamation of two strong cognitive framework EQ and SQ has been predicted to escalate the efficiency of professionals doing multitasking in the rapid transformational economy where the financial sector is significantly witnessing major transformations. The banking sector, which serves as a parameter of the economy has undergone several transitions like privatization, demonetization , working during pandemic and stretching maximum hours in the monotonous job routine. It is imperative to understand and enhance the ESQ level of this heterogenous manpower working in this dominant progressing sector which serves as the backbone of the economy. The study aims to open the gates to advanced research in developing ESQ amongst various groups of people working in different sectors by leading this study. The study identifies the factors effecting ESQ level of bank employees, further measuring them and examining its impact on managerial efficiency of bank employees by proposing a structural model showing the impact of ESQ on ME, where the Organization Commitment OC tends to act as a partial mediator observed during the analysis undertaken through structure equation modelling using EFA and CFA to critically observe the result derived from the survey. newlineMost of the organizations are not aware and active in understanding this phenomenon which if addressed properly may lead to huge positive outcomes for the organization and the human assets. For the elimination of these serious problems affecting the organization the present study has also suggested several recommendations to enhance ESQ levels of individuals for bringing a holistic development of mankind. newline newline | |
