dc.description.abstractnewline A power quality (PQ) problem is a phenomenon that manifests as substandard voltage, current, or outages that cause frustration for end client types of equipment. To simplify the decisions about voltage and current, hardware controller based custom power tools should be used. Distribution static compensation (DSTATCOM) and dynamic voltage restore (DVR) are the best devices to improve power quality problems. In this study, different distributed static compensators (DSTATCOMs) and DVR topologies, state of the art, their performance, design considerations, future developments and potential applications are considered for power quality improvement. A DVR supplies a voltage to the arrangement with structure voltage, and the DSTATCOM fills the current into the structure to solve power quality problems. Conveyance static compensator (DSTATCOM) is a shunt compensator that can compensate for power quality problems such as harmonics, current unbalance, and inrush current. UPQC includes DVR and DSTATCOM without standard DC interface. Detailed results are displayed to evaluate the performance of each device as a possible custom power arrangement. newlinePQ problem in distribution architecture is voltage swell, sag, harmonics and imbalances in power. This thesis considers the scope of PQ development in photovoltaic (PV) power distribution (PD) schemes for IEEE 33 and 57 bus architectures. This development is satisfied by FACTS bay gadgets of dynamic voltage restore (DVR) and distributed static compensation (DSTATCOM). Also, Butterfly Optimizer (BO) and Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) architectures are considered for the suggested work representing switching gadget. Finally, it compares the yield signal of DSTATCOM and DVR.
