The current energy scenario, economic and environmental safety forces the newlineresearchers to seek the better alternate fuel that comprises all the above-mentioned newlineaspects. Kapok Methyl Ester (KME) is one of the biodiesels which is readily used in newlinecompression ignition (CI) engines. This experimental study is aimed to study the newlinefeasibility of using kapok vegetable oil/kapok methyl ester as engine fuel and to newlineimprove the engine performance on par with diesel fuel, if necessary. The aim of the newlinethesis is to evaluate the (a) Performance of CI Engine characteristics Fuelled with newlineKapok Methyl Ester, Turpentine oil and Diesel fuel, (b) Performance of CI Engine newlinecharacteristics Fuelled with Kapok Methyl Ester and Turpentine oil Blends, (c) Effect newlineof Acetylene induction with Kapok Methyl Ester and Kapok Methyl Ester-Turpentine newlineoil blend on engine performance, and (d) Effect of Hydrogen induction with Kapok newlineMethyl Ester and Kapok Methyl Ester-Turpentine oil blend on engine performance. All newlinefour phases of experiments are conducted in the same engine test rig, the acetylene newlineinduction setup and hydrogen induction setup are attached at the appropriate time of newlineconduction of experiments newline
