Abstract
The environmental impact and depletion of fossil fuels have made
newlinerenewable energy sources an increasingly attractive option for power generation.
newlineSolar and wind power are considered essential kinds of energy generation.
newlineNevertheless, the intermittent nature, low efficiency, and lack of predictability of
newlinethese renewable resources render them ineffective. According to the Institute for
newlineSustainable Energy Policies, 33% of presently available non-renewable energy
newlineresources will be viable for producing electricity by 2050. Sixty-seven percent of the
newlineoverall demand must be met using clean, renewable energy sources. It is essential to
newlinehave low-cost, pollution-free energy sources to fulfill this growing power demand. It
newlineis also possible to develop new and better methods for producing alternate forms of
newlineenergy at a low cost and reusing and recycling the energy emitted in the form of
newlineliquids or heat. Waste heat recovery is a novel source of energy.
newlineTEGs (Thermoelectric generators) is a cost-effective way to reduce fossil
newlinefuel consumption by reusing waste heat. TEG converts heat energy into electrical
newlineenergy and is widely employed as an energy recovery technology in most research
newlineprojects. The poorer energy conversion rate is the main challenge in TEG because
newlinethe heat released from the source is dissipated, which cannot be efficiently converted
newlineinto electrical energy. Initially, TEMS (Thermo Electric Measurement System) was
newlinedesigned and fabricated to achieve the proposed target. In the case of the TEMS
newlinesystem, heat is trapped suitably, and heat dissipation is less, so the improved output
newlinevoltage is obtained
