Abstract

Punjabi folk narrative is the creative expression of the folk-mind. There are many types of folk narratives forms on the basis of the folk theme structure. But the namely three forms of folk narrative are prevailed these are myths, legends and folk tales. Folk tales are the personification of the problems of human being. These problems are expressed in different ways and different narrative techniques in the folk tales. Folk motif is a good model of folk narrative. Behind of these problems, the folk mind is suggested very positive and creative solutions, that are available in these tales. Moral values, athics and heritage is the most important treasure of us which is safe and secure in these folk tales. So, folk tales are unique and universal heritage of human culture. newline
