Abstract
Problem: Banking sector has always remained a strong pillar in the Indian economy. Recent
newlineglobal transformation has given a lot of pressure and numerous responsibilities on banks to
newlinepersistently grow through competitive advantage. Growth of several banks has been devalued
newlinebecause their managers found it difficult to yield a high and positive performance from their
newlineworkforce. Where they can direct for building core competencies. Enriching competent
newlineemployees has become a biggest concern for bank management and leaders, as they fail to
newlinehold a culture where employee expectations get considered apart from just acquiring customer
newlinesatisfaction. Bank cannot overcome with the external challenges, until the internal force gets
newlinemotivate to contribute positively for success. Employees being a major internal challenge,
newlinemust be handle proactively by a competent leader. The non-presence of influential leaders
newlinealways causes an organization to lose its mode of success, as employee performance becomes
newlineslow and gradually deteriorated. There is a need of an influential supervisor who can lead
newlinetheir employees by inculcating high performing work culture, where employee s aspirations
newlinealso get satisfied.
