The increasing expansion of advanced devices for Global Navigation Satellite System newlinecommunication requires an antenna that can handle wide bandwidth, provides high newlinegain, and has a stable radiation pattern, which is the wireless communication problem. newlineThe antenna for a global navigation system needs to operate in three critical frequency newlinebands: S-band (2.482-2.502 GHz), high L-band (1.554-1.612 GHz), and low L-band newline(1.166-1.289 GHz). The IRNSS operates in two frequencies which for the L5 band newlinewith a center frequency of 1.176 GHz and the S-band MHz) with a 2.49 GHz center newlinefrequency. The designed antenna in our proposed work for IRNSS applications must newlinecover these two frequency bands. Circular polarization is difficult to accomplish with newlinea dual-band antenna. A small antenna is similarly challenging to design. For the dual-band, the stack patch design is used with the feeding network. The newlineHybrid coupler used for the feeding network used in the antenna is the modified newlineSchiffman phase shifter which covers wideband bandwidth from (1.1GHz -2.6 GHz). newlineThe circular polarization is achieved in the designed antenna with the help of a hybrid newlinecoupler. The antenna can cover both L5 () and S-band () navigational frequency newlineranges. Contd..... newline
