The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) and its implementations have enthralled the attention of doctoral researchers to a great extent. This is due to the availability of IoT components in human s day to day life in the form of intelligent computing, communication services and automation demands in industries with the advancement of internet and its technologies. It in turn results the IoT network complexities is increased. Therefore, the major motivation of this domain is to automate the communication and reduce the complexities involved in IoT networks. Generally, the task of optimal routing with energy efficiency in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is comparatively difficult. Moreover, inclusion of low power lossy networks in WSN adds intricacy to the entire network. The IoT devices are normally operated by batteries, but required to run continuously. The replacement of batteries in the middle of working is impossible and nit cost effective. Therefore, this research focusses in making the IoT network energy efficient and devising an optimal routing methodology in order to resolve the network related issues by improving the energy efficiency and hop distance parameters. newlineThe first work of this research proposes an energy efficient and optimal mobility management framework of Low-Power Wireless Personal Area Networks (6LoWPAN) in Low power Lossy Network (LLN) of IoT network to achieve reliability and stability in IPv6. 6LoWPAN is an emerging paradigm that secures the network from routing risks. With this research, we are involved in obtaining reliable, energy efficient, optimal and scalable parameters for better routing approach in IoT networks specifically in dynamic environment. newline newline
