Abstract
A study entitled Soil Water Dynamics and Water Productivity under Crop Establishment Methods and Organic Source of Nutrient of Rice in Rice- Wheat System was carried out during 2022 and 2023, at CRC farm, SVPUAT campus, Meerut. The experimental field was uniform and leveled, sandy loam in texture, low in available nitrogen (193.3 kg ha-1), medium in available phosphorus (12.4 kg ha-1) and potassium (138.2 kg ha-1) with slightly alkaline in reaction (pH 7.82). The experiment was carried out in Split Plot Design with three replications and main plot (Puddled Transplanted Rice, Un-puddled Transplanted Rice and Raised-Bed Planting) sub plot (Control, 100% NPK (150: 75:60), 50% RDN + FYM at15ton ha-1, 50% RDN + vermicompost at 5 ton ha-1, 50% RDN + FYM at15 ton ha-1 + Bio-stumulant G at 20Kg ha-1 and 50% RDN + vermicompost at 5 ton ha-1 + Bio-stumulant G at 20 kg ha-1) treatments. Treatments effects of crop establishment methods and nutrient management were evaluated in terms of growth and yield of rice. The results also revealed that among the different crop establishment methods and nutrient management treatments the highest grain yield (44.19 and 46.1 and 48.78 and 50.72 q ha 1 ) was obtained under E1 (Puddled Transplanted Rice) and N6 (50% RDN + vermicompost at 5 ton ha-1 + Bio-stumulant G at 20 kg ha-1), which were at par (42.07 and 43.79 and 47.26 and 49.20 q ha-1) with the application of E3 (Raised-Bed Planting) and N5 (50% RDN + FYM at15 ton ha 1+ Bio-stumulant G at 20Kg ha-1) during both the years. The highest NPK content and uptake by grain and straw found with (Puddled Transplanted Rice) and N6 (50% RDN + vermicompost at 5 ton ha-1 + Bio-stumulant G at 20 kg ha-1) was at par with E3 (Raised-Bed Planting) and N5 (50% RDN + FYM at15 ton ha-1 + Bio-stumulant G at 20Kg ha-1). The results revealed that the highest net monetary return (and#8377;78222 and 85356 and 87089 and 94278 ha-1) and B: C ratio (1.85 and 1.98 and 1.92 and 2.02) was obtained with E1 (Puddled Transplanted Rice) and N6 (50% RDN + vermicompost at 5 ton ha-1 + Bio-stumulant G at 20 kg
