Microfluidic assisted synthesis of nanostructures for photocatalytic and photovoltaic devices

Abstract

The present thesis work is focused towards the microfluidic assisted synthesis of Ag2S, ZnS, Ag3PO4 and SnS nanostructures and their applications in photocatalytic and Photovoltaic devices. The microreactors used for the synthesis of these materials have been fabricated by different cost-effected and rapid microfabrication routes. Greater control over the morphology of nanostructures has been clearly demonstrated. Enhanced performance for the inline- photocatalytic and photovoltaic devices has also been achieved with the synthesized nanostructures. newline
