| dc.description.abstract | A study on quotReproductive, Productive Performance, and Breeding Efficiency of Jersey X Red newlineSindhi crossbred Cowsquot was carried out at the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, newlineSHUATS, District - Prayagraj, Utter Pradesh. All the data was collected from history sheet of newlineJersey X Red Sindhi crosses. For present study four groups of J x RS crosses as 1/2 J X 1/2 RS newline(CG1), 3/8 J X 5/8 RS (CG2), 1/4 J X 3/4 RS (CG3), and 1/8 J X 7/8 RS (CG4) were taken. It newlinewas seen that butter fat yield was affected significantly in the subsequent lactation order 2 newlinend, with newlinea general mean of 93.16 ± 3.22 kg, 75.61 ± 7.45, 104.77 ± 6.73 and 83.28 ± 4.80 in 1/2 J X 1/2 newlineRS (CG1), 3/8 J X 5/8 RS (CG2), 1/4 J X 3/4 RS (CG3), and 1/8 J X 7/8 RS (CG4), respectively. newlineA significant difference was observed in age at first calving among four groups with overall newlinemean 1094.78 ± 29.97 days whereas 961.18 ± 47.20, 1042.20 ± 35.59, 1103.08 ± 39.76 and newline1247.12 ± 72.80 days was recorded in 1/2 J X 1/2 RS (CG1), 3/8 J X 5/8 RS (CG2), 1/4 J X 3/4 newlineRS (CG3), and 1/8 J X 7/8 RS (CG4), respectively. Over all mean dry days 63.5 ± 0.87 days, newlinewhereas a significant difference was observed on dry days among for groups in 3rd lactation newlineorder as 58.00 ± 1.58, 60.75 ± 1.61, 67.68 ± 1.06 and 64.31 ± 1.38 in 1/2 J X 1/2 RS (CG1), 3/8 J newlineX 5/8 RS (CG2), 1/4 J X 3/4 RS (CG3), and 1/8 J X 7/8 RS (CG4), respectively. It was observed newlinethat Lac. order had non-significant influence on reproductive traits such as SP, CI, DO, and 1st newline, newline2 newlinend Lac. order DP. On productive and reproductive traits, all seasons were a non-significant newlineinfluence. Over all mean lactation length 353.83 ± 7.27 days, whereas a significant difference newlinewas observed on lactation length among for groups in 2 newlinend Period as 337.00 ± 13.38, 308.00 ± newline5.93, 377.80 ± 9.47 and 359.40 ± 15.46 in 1/2 J X 1/2 RS (CG1), 3/8 J X 5/8 RS (CG2), 1/4 J X newline3/4 RS (CG3), and 1/8 J X 7/8 RS (CG4), respectively. Over all mean lactation length 355.1 ± newline9.03 days, whereas a significant difference was observed | |
