Abstract

Trend of Development means the improvement took in the social, cultural or economical aspects with respect to time and region. Development is not equal and static in the world, but it changes time to time and region to region with respect to natural resources, human resources and economical factors. Through this it is clear that trend of development of regions are varies from time to time and region to region. There are enumerable factors are governing on the development of region and basically these factors are classified into two basic categories, one is Physical factors and another is anthropogenic factors. Word Development is synonym to word improvement or positive change. Word development is mostly used for anthrop genetically originated activities like social aspects, cultural aspects or economical aspects. Development is defined as a sustained increase in the real per capita income together with an improvement in the distribution of material welfare (According to A.N. Agrawal). This definition is purely based on the economical characteristics; in this definition demographical characteristics are not included or consider. 1. Physical Factors: - It includes availability of minerals, climatic conditions, physiogaraphy, soil type, availability of water, etc. are important factors for establishment of settlement and growth of settlement. If the minerals are available then the development of region is quite faster than other region wherever minerals are not found. One another example is soil and availability of water, if quality of soil is well and water is available in particular region then concentration of settlement is high. Inverse situation is found when soil quality is coarser and availability of water is less. It means the physical conditions are impact on the human activities. 2.
