newline Cardiovascular disorders involve the simultaneous administration of more than one drug; hence numerous combinations, including calcium channel blockers and and#946; blockers, are available in the market and are approved by various regulating authorities. Cilnidipine, a calcium-channel blocker, and Bisoprolol fumarate bind to block and#946; adrenergic receptors are one such combination available in the market. This combination is used in the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris. Therefore, these drugs need to be accurately analyzed in various samples, including laboratory mixtures and marketed formulation. In the present scenario, developing new drug therapies to enhance human health is an area of interest. Therefore, there is a gradual rise in demand to develop highly sensitive and specific analytical techniques for newly developed drugs and implement new analytical technologies for multi-drug quantification. To overcome these challenges, analysts are striving to develop new, efficient, high-throughput, and shorter time frame analytical techniques, which can provide improved data quality. In the past few decades, among various developed analytical separation techniques, liquid chromatography (LC) was a beneficial tool with enhanced separation speed and efficiency for monitoring drugs. This Thesis provides an overview of practical aspects of earlier and recent trends in the LC method developments to analyze Bisoprolol Fumarate and Cilnidipine in combination. HPLC is the most applied and advanced LC method due to its remarkable selectivity and precision for separating and analyzing drugs. Analytical methods dedicated to analyzing a drug compound in a given matrix need to be optimized and validated to ensure excellent selectivity, sensitivity, ease of use, and analysis speed and less expensive and efficient analytical procedures.
