Abstract
Many studies are being conducted in the field of energy storage devices to improve the
newlineperformance of an electrode materials for future application. In recent years, numerous research
newlinehave been published that fully define Nano level synthesis techniques, dopants and composite
newlinebased work for improving the charge storing capability and long cycle life of energy storage
newlinedevices, particularly in supercapacitor. In this current era, researchers prefer eco-friendly synthesis
newlinetechniques to rectify unnecessary hazardous issues. Since, environmental friendly technique along
newlinewith good cyclic stability was one of the major focuses in scientific society. This doctoral work
newlinehas been carried out in the motivation to attain high specific capacitance to improve cyclic
newlinestability. Transition metal oxides (TMO) of nanostructure explored excellent potential applications
newlinein energy storage devices. Here, the spinel Mn3O4 prepared by various method and investigations
newlinewere carried out to examine their compatibility for supercapacitor. Since pure Mn3O4 and
newlinetransition metal oxide (Co, Fe and Ni) doped Mn3O4 nanomaterials have been synthesized by
newlinehydrothermal method and are compared in terms of physical and electrochemical characteristics.
newlineThe XRD analysis corresponds to the body centered tetragonal spinel structure with space group
newlineas l41/amd (141). Using a High resolution Transmission Electron Microscope
newline(HRTEM) and a
newlineHigh resolution Scanning Electron Microscope (HRSEM), the surface morphology of the
newlinesynthesized samples was examined
