O and ENN updated the MAMI tool version 3 recently in January 2021. Version 2 and newlineversion 1 developed in 2018 and 2015. The tools help in effective identification and newlinemanagement of at-risk mothers and infants less than 6 months of age. The prevalence of newlinemalnutrition in less than 6 month of age children is very high and due to which mortality percentage is relatively high in this age group. This study adds knowledge about implementation of C-MAMI tool based on learning s of previous implementation experiences in Bangladesh and Ethiopia. In these two countries more than 20 locations were established for identification. Agents used for record data collection were previously attached with other nutritional programs also. After field investigation in more than 20 locations in these 2 countries these data were collected by Fgd s, questionnaire and assessment forms. The newlineencouraging results of pilots in Ethiopia and Bangladesh (Butler et al, 2018) sparked interest among Indian expert striving to improve the care of at-risk mothers and infants in India. The other finding in this study is lack of linkage in between community to the previously stabilized programmers, sensitization of working staff, skills, and clarity in cutoff of moderate and severe newlinemalnutrition. This study revels high percentage of at-risk infants in the facility setting. Due to Regular counselling and follow up More than half of at-risk infants population recovered at the 6th month follow up. Patient s satisfaction was also very high after the end of this study. newlineThere is a great need to implement the MAMI approach to improve the care of at-risk mother and infants in India. The management of at-risk infants and mothers at community level with MAMI tool is cost effective also and in the facility settings we can start MAMI clinics in the OPD s area and at the immunization clinics. This will defiantly help in reducing prevalence of malnutrition and will also help in improving mental health of children in advance age.
