Abstract

The research on Communication and Development interface: Status study in newlineThree North Bengal Villages at different stages of development has delved deep newlineinto identifying communication resource utilization in the development of newlinemankind in three villages of North Bengal at their different stages of development. newlineBased on extensive primary data of the selected research villages, the study has newlineproved the hypothesis on the inter-relation of these two phenomena. Establishing newline Higher Development is directly dependent on better utilization of newlineCommunication spectrum of the place , the study throws light into the purposive newlineutilization of communication in being and becoming of man. The study reflects newlineeach community s capacity to utilize their natural and social resources through newlineown communication management applications in their existence so far. newlineThrough the analyses on several indicators and attributes, the study has identified newlinethat varied capacity or incapacity of utilizing components of communication newlinespectrum for development with sustainability makes the difference between progress of different communities. From perspectives of ecologically sustainable transgenerational progress and developing communities from within, the study has looked into communication applications for-in-as development in the study villages.
