Abstract
The modern communication world is realistic with higher speed of
newlinedata transmission. In recent years, as the technology that way for bonding the
newlinenetwork, it would require for higher bandwidth support in order of THz. The gap
newlinebetween information data center and the user compact well meshed with the
newlinemaximum guarantee of accessing data through light transmission and guiding
newlinemedium. It is commonly known as fiber optical cable. The initial development of
newlinefiber cable has relied on telecommunication industries and its unique properties
newlinediverge in various applications such as medical sensing, nonlinear signal
newlineprocessing, astrophotonics, silicon photonics and integrated optics which also
newlineincludes lensing applications. Of course, it is ubiquitous for telecommunication
newlineapplications. The various form of fiber reconfiguration according to its refractive
newlineindex profile makes the significance thought of optical guiding medium.
newlineDepending upon the requirement and attempt to retain over the length of optical
newlinecable, the features are enhanced with reforming fiber refractive index profile and
newlinefew types are called as Dispersion Compensation Fiber (DCF), Dispersion
newlineDecreasing Fiber (DDF), Dispersion Flattened Fiber (DFF), Dispersion Shifted
newlineFiber (DSF), Ultra-Flattened Dispersion Fibers (UFFs), Highly Nonlinear Fiber
newline(HNLF) and Multitrench Fiber (MTF). The supportive modulation and
newlinemultiplexing scheme are also developed and referred as Wavelength Division
newlineMultiplexing (WDM), Polarization Division Multiplexing (PDM) etc. The
newlinedemand over the data access is still increased upon the rapid increases of user.
newlineThe tradeoff between the higher data rate and dense of users is very crucial to
newlinemaintain with the existing multiplexing scheme. It is due to the complex
newlinemodification and additional signal processing circuits required for data line
newlinecompensation.
