Abstract
newline Proposed MIMO-OFDM system outperforms the standard OFDM system over Rayleigh fading channels employing space diversity technique and using modulation schemes. In the simulation results it is shown that bit error rate in MIMO-OFDM System is far better than the conventional OFDM System. In Rayleigh fading conditions, we have shown the Bit Error Rate analysis and Capacity behaviour of a wireless multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system. In MIMO systems, data are delivered and received concurrently from several antennas, allowing for more precise detection. By adding spatial diversity and modulation schemes (QAM/8QAM/16QAM/QPSK), we compare the BER (bit error rate) performance of MIMO-OFDM system over Rayleigh fading channel with conventional OFDM in this study. Bit error rate performance of MIMO-OFDM System is far better than the Conventional OFDM.
newlineVBLAST detection suffers from computational complexity and a high BER while analyzing the performance of a MIMO-OFDM system. We propose a modified VBLAST detection in MIMO-OFDM system to improve BER performance and to reduce receiver computational complexity. The improvement in computational complexity and BER shows in simulations using MATLAB. When compared to a normal VBLAST-based MIMO-OFDM system, modified VBLAST reduces the complexity of the MIMO-OFDM system by 44.2 percent.
newlineBy using Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) Capacity of framework is improved. On the basis of bit error rate (BER) and signal to noise ratio (SNR), the performance of framework is analyzed. In MIMO System , Space Time Block Code (STBC) improves the bit error rate (BER) even in bad channel condition and spatial multiplexing improves data rate.
newlineFor high data rate requirement, elimination of channel impairment, MIMO-OFDM system is most suitable technique. In the recent times, high data transmission rates are in growing demand in communication channel, like in 4G, 5G, broadband
