We were mostly dependant on fossil fuels till last century as these sources are reducing, newlineit is important to move towards sustainable natural source of the energy. As solar energy uses newlinethe sunlight for energy generation and India is getting ample amount of sunlight the dependence newlineon solar energy has increased from past few decades. As solar energy is reliable and does not newlinecause harm to environment and health, Government of India is targeting high amount of newlinegeneration from solar sector, to meet this raised demand will impact on economic growth, newlineemployment and environment indirectly. newlineGovernment of India is also supporting various scheme and policy to attract the newlineentrepreneur to enter in renewable market. So many entrepreneurs entering in renewable field newlinebusiness but some of them failed in long run. As renewable market is oligopoly market facing newlinethe tremendous competition. To attract the customer and to stand unique in this oligopolistic newlinemarket various marketing strategy and business plan used by the organizations. Many newlineorganizations used offline and online platforms to sell the products and services. Solar energy newlinealso helps to boost the economy. Solar energy directly and indirectly contributing to newlineenvironment, society and economy. newlineSolar EPC (Engineering, Procurement and construction/Commissioning) organizations newlinecontributing mainly towards the residential sector, commercial sector and agricultural sector. newlineIt is important to adapt and develop the strategies and practices to sustain the changing market. newlineCurrently India stands fourth in electricity generation through solar renewable energy. newlineThe objectives of this research is to understand the challenges faced by the newlineorganizations to attract the customers ,various strategies and practices used to overcome the newlinechallenges, Researcher also focuses on the current strategies and practices used in the various newlinedepartments like design, Supply chain management, Procurement, Sales and Marketing.
