Abstract

In today s world, information is an important aspect of almost every part of our life. It has become a necessity for everyone as information is one of the several basic resources that are needed and utilized by human beings for their development and prosperity. Information is closely interrelated with the growth and development of human life. The quality of life, prospects for social change, and economic development hugely depend upon information and its utilization. Nowadays, information has become a popular tradable commodity that can be produced, sold, and consumed in every sector and established as an emerging industry. Information is an essential need of students and faculties to participate in new ways of personal and academic activities. The availability of the right information at the right time generates creativity in the students. Information plays a leading role in academic activities-- students need the information for the prescribed syllabuses for pursuing their studies, especially passing their examinations.
