dc.description.abstractsolar power source alone or along with an energy storage system. BLDC motor has newlinemore preference over the conventional DC motor as it provides better efficiency, less newlinemaintenance, long lasting, compact construction by the industrialists and the newlineresearchers. The BLDC motor needs to be operated within full speed range for newlineautomotive applications .The switching of voltage source inverter s (VSI) is done in newlinethe BLDC motor through electronic commutation. The speed of the BLDC motor is newlinecontrolled by the PI controller. newlineThis research work focuses on modelling of PV panel, Optimization newlinealgorithms for the tuning of MPPT controller, Battery, Charge controller, Zeta newlineconverter, design of Multilevel inverter and a FPGA based control of BLDC motor for newlinean Electric vehicle application. MATLAB-SIMULINK software is used to carry out newlinethe simulation .Real time hardware integration is developed, tested and the results are newlineverified. newline
