Abstract

Chandrasekhar Behera played a crucial role in the freedom struggle of Western Odisha. Being embroiled with Gandhian principles and ideology he filled up the gap between the personality of Gandhi and Gopabandhu. His unique and dedicated personality had shining effect on the freedom struggle of Odisha.. Since independence around 75 years has passed but no research work on this illustrious son has yet been attempted.
